I made these cookies to match the look of my vintage pumpkin cake pops because I had some molded fondant roses and leaves leftover from making the cake pops! These can be left plain, or decorated in the different ways shown on the video! Instead of 3 segments on the pumpkin, a different look can be doing 4 segments.
I used flood consistency white royal icing to fill the pumpkins. For the leaves and roses, the details are in my vintage pumpkin cake pops post.
I used a wilton tip #2 to make the 2 strings coming down from the stems on some of the cookies, plus the leaf tip #352-medium consistency royal icing.
For the stems, I piped with tip #16, then painted with gold lustre dust mixed with a few drops of water. (After it dries) I also used this to paint the edges and lines of the pumpkin. If you want a different look, instead of 3 segments, do 5, like this:
These were super fun to make! Enjoy!
